President and CEO Mr. Bob Dhillon
Mr. Bob Dhillon graduated with an MBA in October of 1998 from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He is the President and CEO who has over 20 years of experience in the industry acquiring and divesting all types of properties. Mr. Dhillon has acquired, redeveloped and divested every type of real estate for over 20 years as a private individual and has participated in many real estate transactions specializing in adding value to properties. Mr. Dhillon began his career in the residential sector and has gained his industry experience in the most appropriate environment of all as an owner. Mr. Dhillon has been active selling and buying all classes of real estate in each part of the cycle.
Every transaction in his career has been financed with his own equity and personal guarantees. The acquisition and operating philosophy behind each real estate purchase has been the creation and eventual capture of the value added to each property. An unwavering dedication to this philosophy allowed for his portfolio to be constantly in tune with the market condition and allowed for profitable real estate ownership during each part of the cycle. Mr. Dhillon has owned and managed on a collective basis over 5,000 multi-family units since creating Mainstreet.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Johnny Lam
Johnny is the CFO at Mainstreet Equity Corp. with over 20 years experience in senior financial management in Asia, Europe and North America. Mr. Lam was previously VP of Finance and Administration at HB Media Holding Pte. Ltd. in Singapore and Head of Finance at Times Printers Pte. Ltd. also in Singapore. Mr. Lam holds a Certified General Accountants designation, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom.
Ms. Lizaine Wheeler – Senior Vice President, Operations
Lizaine is responsible for the overall operations of all of Mainstreet’s properties. She has her Certified Property Management designation as well as a Management Diploma specializing in Human Resources. Combining formal qualifications and experience, having vast experience with both weak and strong vacancy markets, Lizaine brings a well rounded understanding to her position. Lizaine’s strong management skills focuses on building an enthused and knowledgeable team.
Lizaine joined Mainstreet Equity Corp. on January 1, 2010 after 12 years with Boardwalk REIT, where she started with Boardwalk as a leasing agent and worked her way up to Vice President of Operations, a position she held since 1996
